Dior couture gold (554) 5 couleurs Eye Shadow Palette (0.21 oz) is a limited edition palette that contains five holiday tones, which tend to lean toward the warmer side and keep the spirit of all shiny things, and glam metal.

The first shadow in the upper left is white gold with a matte finish. Payment has good color and very soft, buttery texture. This nuance has several viable unwary: Tarina Tarantino dream Zephyr Urban Decay, impressive Escentuals bare manila and MAC. Faced with this, at the top right is a gold medal burned more orange than yellow type with a matte gold metal finish and shine. The pigmentation is good, and the eye shadow feels soft and silky. It is similar in color to the urban decay Blunt, Milani Steeped in gold, and Bare Escentuals Aspire.

In the middle of the palette is pale golden, shiny finish with a really splendid. The texture is a bit rough, as this shade is more of a gloss finish than anything else. I thought I would not hold up well in the eye, but surprisingly, the fall was minimal (and very little for this type of finish). The color looks similar to MAC Femme-fi, but the finishes are completely different. It is also similar to Bobbi Brown and Nylon MAC Gold Bar. This shade is yellower than the shade on the top left of this palette.

At the bottom left is a very dark brown with hints of ruby ​​and gold glitter. The texture of this type is that which separates the base color of the spark at the top, shaded brown is dry, powdered, and only so-so in delivering true-to-pan color gain, while covering the brightness tends to fade when the shadow is actually applied to the eyes. These tones are similar although the color of the spark is slightly different: Bobbi Brown Black Gold, Tarina Tarantino Dreamy, Legendary MAC, and Wet ‘n Wild comfort zone. The shadow past, which can be found at the bottom right is a bright copper with a golden glow. The texture is very soft and smooth, and tone are rewarded with a good color. It’s not like Urban Decay copper Limelight.

Couture Gold is a warm color palette, but that does not contain a lot of strong tones of yellow or orange base, so you should dress in fresh complexion. This palette was an unexpected success for me, I do not think I love it, although it is nice, but the way it gathers works very, very well.
