Katy Perry, Madonna, Lady GaGa to lead Britney Spears tribute at MTV VMAs?

According to Digitalspy, Madonna, Lady GaGa and Katy Perry are among a host of stars who will reportedly pay tribute to Britney Spears at this month’s MTV VMAs.

The music video ceremony will include a tribute to the 29-year-old, but MTV executives have yet to comment on what it will involve.

However, TV producer and casting director Jonathan Woodbeck has tweeted what he believes will happen at the show on August 28.

He wrote: “If this lineup is legit (which I’m told it is) the tribute to Britney at the VMAs is gonna be insanely EPIC!!”

He then listed several artists along with the Spears track they will perform on the night as part of a medley.

The list is as follows:

Selena Gomez: ‘…Baby One More Time’
Katy Perry: ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’
Janet Jackson: ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’
Demi Lovato: ‘Toxic’
Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj: ‘Gimme More’
Lady GaGa: ‘Circus’
Britney Spears: ‘Hold It Against Me’/'I Wanna Go’

Madonna will then apparently take to the stage to present Spears with a ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award.
