Skin care routine
Beauty begins with proper skin care. Clear, healthy skin is the perfect canvas for makeup.
Over the years the demand for new products has led to much hype in the industry of skin care. However, most of the claims have been largely speculative, with few proven in clinical trials.
A Sacha has always been our view that a line of skin care should be simple, effective and easy to use. Ingredients should be possible to reduce the possibility of skin irritation. Remember, an ingredient that is beneficial for one person, seriously irritates the skin of another. In fact, almost all the ingredients have the potential to irritate the skin.
Understanding your skin
Believe it or not your skin is the largest organ of your body. It is a living organ that heals and renews itself constantly. It covers his body and is composed of two well-defined layers:
1. The epidermis is the superficial layer or external. In other words, this is the skin that we see and feel. Which is the protective cover. This layer contains blood vessels, but has the small nerve endings and is composed of five layers of cells.
The pigment called melanin is found in this layer. Melanin protects the sensitive cells underneath the sun’s harmful effects. The greater the exposure to sunlight increased the production of melanin.
2. The dermis or inner layer is just below the epidermis. This layer is very sensitive because it contains nerve endings. It also contains numerous blood vessels, lymph vessels, sweat glands, sebaceous glands and hair follicles.
These are held together by collagen and elastin fibers, which together give the skin its strength and endurance.
Each hair follicle has a sebaceous gland that produces sebum. Excess fat makes your skin look and feel greasy. If the neck of a sebaceous gland becomes blocked, the sebum accumulates, leading to acne. A deficiency in the production of sebum produces dryness of the skin.
The teen years can be your best or worst depending on their hormonal activity. In general, puberty is a bad time for the skin.
If you avoid the attacks of acne and pimples usually associated with adolescence, then more than likely that 20 and 30 must be free of problems.
During his 20 of his skin to look its best. However, it can be affected by allergies, hormonal imbalances, stress and exposure to the elements.
In the 30′s your skin may begin to lose the bloom of youth. You can begin to see the appearance of dryness and fine lines. The skin tends to be more sensitive and requires special care during this period.
At 40 hormone production decreases and the skin begins to lose tone and elasticity, leading to wrinkles, folds and lines.
While these changes occur naturally with age, can be minimized and controlled by proper care for your skin. Cleansing, toning and moisturizing your skin twice a day can help rejuvenate and revitalize your skin.
Now that you have a better understanding of your skin and how it works, I’m sure you will find that the time to start your personal routine skin care is NOW!
